This site is designed to give you the fundamental information you need to recognize an eating disorder and will guide you through patient placement or referrals to Avalon Centers in Williamsville, New York.

Avalon Centers offers a New York State Office of Mental Health licensed partial hospitalization program for patients with eating disorders who are adolescents 14 and older and adults. For patients from out of the area, placement in apartment-style living quarters is available for overnight accommodations. Supportive outpatient services are also available.

Timothy's Law, recently signed into law in New York State, is good news for individuals suffering from an eating disorder.  Previously, many insurance companies did not cover Partial Hospitalization or Outpatient treatment for eating disorders.  With the passage of Timothy’s law, the chances of insurance coverage has greatly increased.  Click here to read more.
